*Astro Lanes Results
*226 Scratch Division Cut Score - Minus - 153
*206 Handicap Division Cut Score: Plus + 67
*Lane Condition: AMBT Black Widow - 42ft Length - Medium Oil Volume

We enjoyed another great Sunday of tournament bowling in Southeast Michigan as Astro Lanes hosted our Bakers Doubles event. We want to thank Denise and her staff for being a great host as always. We can never say enough about the red carpet treatment that they always provide to our tournament bowlers.

We bowled on an AMBT designer Lane condition called the "The Black Widow". This 42ft. pattern provided our members with the challenge of playing the lanes more direct because of the under reacting outside boards that provide a strong out-of-bounds area. If you moved too far inside the Black Widow will let you feel her bite!
Challenging lanes conditions are what the American Masters Bowlers Tour is all about. You WILL NOT find any easy league play bumper bowling lane conditions here! That is why we always let our new members know that our tournaments and formats will challenge your bowling skills and if you make the commitment to bowl with us regularly you will find yourself becoming a better bowler. If you are up to the challenge then here is where it is at!

Our High Qualifiers this weekend for our 226 scratch division was the team of Joe Osinski & Vernon Allen IIas they rolled their way to the top with a great 1601 scratch score for eight games of qualifying on very challenging lane conditions.

Our High Qualifier for our 206 handicap division was the team of Rick Gilmer & Rick Heintz as they posted a great 1783 W/Handicap to lead all bowlers in our handicap division. This was both bowlers second High Qualifier awards this season.

Craig Nidiffer has about locked up the "Bowler of the Year" honors for our 226 Scratch Division. Bob Frink is in second place and still has the math to post a come back. Bob will have to win the tournament this weekend at Skore Lanes to continue his quest.

Vince Schulte
is still leading in the Bowler of the Year performance points for our 206 Handicap division but Lenny Dunford is making a late push and is now in second place and posting a challenge for the top spot with only three tournaments left there is still time to catch Vince.

We always want area bowlers to understand that the American Masters is here to provide area bowlers with tournament bowling as it is meant to be. If you want to earn a tournament title that really means something then AMBT is the place to be. If you are up to the challenge then we invite you to give us a try. The American Masters continues to provide a professional challenge for the amateur bowler.

*Honor to Our Tournament Champions
We want to honor Adam Dee & David Lughermo for earning their first career AMBT Doubles Champions Title for our 226 Scratch Division this weekend.
Rick Gilmer and Rick Heintz took home the Champions eagles for the 206 Handicap Division as they were the strongest team threw the whole tournament. This was Rick Gilmers seventh career American Masters title and Rick Heintz fourth career title.
