9-15-08 Volume 4. Issue 4. *Sunny Brook Lanes Results 
Start of the 2008-2009 Tournament Bowling Season *We want to thank all of our members who attended our tournament this weekend at Sunny Brook Lanes. Our season has started out strong and our tradition continues with providing area bowlers with tournament bowling as it is meant to be! Our challenging lane conditions this weekend provide us again with some very low cut scores and it was another great Sunday of close matches and down to the last frame contest to determine our champions. We want to give a poke to Rich Rathburn who rolled a great 300 game this weekend in his fifth game of qualifying to earn his way to the High Qualifier spot. This was a very special accomplishment considering the challenging lane conditions he had to manage. As our tournament season gets into full swing we encourage everyone to go out and invite a fellow bowling friend to come and test their skills at one of our next tournament events. Our members have come to understand that when you earn a tournament title with us you have accomplished something very special in your bowling career. We give to our tournament champions a very special champions eagle that represents their special accomplishment on the lanes. Wearing one of our champions shirts lets everyone know that you have earned a special place of honor on our tour. We always tell potiential new members up front that if your looking for easy league play lane conditions then the AMBT is NOT for you! The American Masters Bowlers Tour features some of the best Amatuer bowlers in the Southeast Michigan area. Our formats will challenge your bowling skills and require your best. Our members who participate on a regular basis are those who are seeking to accomplish something special in their bowling careers. For most of our members its not just about winning money, but about earning their chance to be the best on that given Sunday. Give us a call or see a tournament director for more information. *Next Tournament to be held at Clover Lanes The American Masters Bowlers Tour will travel to Clover Lanes on September 28th. with our traditional singles format. This tournament will feature (5) five games of qualifying. Check in starts at 9:00AM and we will start bowling at 10:00 AM for this event. Make your plans now to attend our fourth tournament of the new bowling season. New Season Rule Updates and Changes  *We have made several rule changes for the 2008-2009 bowling season that we believe will help our tournaments grow and provide for an even more competitive bowling enviroment. We encourage all our members to visit the rules page for your division to see what changes we have made. We are asking everyone to read them so that you will not be caught by any unexpected changes that you were not aware of. It is each members responsiblitiy to know our rules and regulations. We are very excited about the new tournament season and we want all our members to make the American Masters Bowlers Tour a regular part of their tournament bowling for the new season.  This season we will be giving our High Non-Cashiers from both divisions a gift coupon provided to us by our division sponsors of Lane #1. and Visionary Bowling. This coupon will be good towards the purchase of their bowling equipment from "Rip the Rack Proshop". Special requirments will apply with this promotion.  RECRUITER OF THE YEAR SPECIAL HONORS We encourage all of our members to go out and invite a friend to come out and bowl at one of our tournaments this next bowling season. The member who is responsible for the most new members will be crowned our "Recruiter of the Year" and earn fifteen (15) prepaid tournament entries for the 2009-2010 tournament bowling season.
