11-23-08 Volume 4. Issue 7. *Westland Bowl Results *226 Scratch Division Cut Score - Minus <87> *206 Handicap Division Cut Score: Plus +20 *Lane Condition: WTPA 2008 Championship Pattern - 43ft Length - Medium Oil Volume
Our members experienced some very challenging lane conditions this weekend and it provide us again with some very low cut scores for both divisions. This is one of the main reasons that the American Masters Bowlers Tour continues to raise the bar in the Southeast Michigan area when it comes to the true tournament bowling experience. When you bowl in one of our tournaments you must come prepared to have your bowling skills challenged. You will not find easy bumper bowling lane conditions at our tournaments. Our Sport lane conditions requires bowlers to perform quality and consistent shot making for each and every game. It will never be about who can roll the most strikes or who can carry the most. We have had many area bowlers come and bowl at our tournaments to find out first hand that we really mean what we say that you will experience true tournament bowling as it is meant to be. We provide area amateur bowlers with the oppourtunity to be challenged like the Pro's on the PBA tour. Just ask our tournament champions what it means to them to have earned one of our Champions Eagles. The American Masters Bowler Tour is not for those who just want to throw strikes and collect prize money. If that is all you are looking for in a tournament experience then the American Masters Bowlers Tour is NOT for you. There are several other tournament organizations in our area that can provide you with just that. But if you want to bowl in a No Nonsense tournament enviroment where the tournament rules are followed and fairly enforced and where the tournament directors work hard to ensure everyone has a fun tournament bowling experience then the American Masters Bowlers Tour is the place to be. The American Masters Bowlers Tour continues to provide area bowlers with tournament bowling as it is meant to be. If you want to earn a tournament title that really means something then AMBT is the place to be. *Honor to Our Tournament Champions We want to honor Craig Nidiffer for earning his fouth career AMBT Champions Title for our 226 Scratch Division this weekend and also to Kari Pearcy for earning her first AMBT Champions Title for our 206 Handicap Division. Both bowlers had to manage some very challenging lane conditions and close matches this weekend to earn their titles. *Special Note: Kari Pearcy also earned a $200 Sponsors bonus this weekend for using an Visionary Immortal Solid during the championship match. *Next Tournament to be held at Astro Lanes The American Masters Bowlers Tour will travel to Astro Lanes on December 7th. with our traditional singles format.
